About Mauritian Rupee (MUR)

The official currency of Mauritius is the Mauritian Rupee. The rupee is equal to 100 cents although there are only two coins currently in circulation – the 5 and 20 cent coins. Rupees are issued by the Bank of Mauritius and can be exchanged at virtually any bank in the country that handles foreign currency. Most banks also accept credit cards to exchange into rupees.

About Costa Rican Colon (CRC)

The official currency of Costa Rica is the CRC, called the colon, symbolized by the "₡ " sign, and issued in coin denominations of ₡5, ₡10, ₡25, ₡50, ₡100 and ₡500 and banknotes in denominations of ₡1000, ₡2000, ₡5000, ₡10,000, ₡20,000, ₡50,000. The current currency was issued in 2010 and replaced all prior versions. The colónes is subdivided into a fractional currency unit but that unit is not in circulation.
