How to save money while still having a social life

Everyone likes going out but not everyone likes spending money. Well, really no one likes spending money. Except if it's at PlayCroco Online Casino where the fun is worth the spend.

As the saying goes the best tasting food is free food. Obviously, you can't go through life trying to get everything for free or you are going to end up with nothing. But you can still try and spend closer to free on food and stuff when you do go out.

Learning financing tips can really help you cut down on your spending when you decide to go out of your house to do things. Which in turn might make you enjoy doing things like going out more often if you are trying to save money. Some things you can do to start saving money require only a little bit of tweaking in your plans while in other ways you can do best if you start planning your entire outings around saving money.

There are a lot of ways to save money, some of them are just some bits of advice while others can involve making some sacrifices.

How much you want to save each time you go out is really up to you. Sometimes you might have to change up how you plan things with friends entirely if you really don't want to spend much money.

We should get into those smaller tips first since those will probably be more useful for more people.

What are some small saving tips?

Walk more. Commuting between places can by itself become a costly thing without you even noticing.

Whether or not you have your own vehicle or if you take public transportation it's expensive in different ways.

With gas prices being what they are having to refuel your tank more often can definitely affect your wallet. If you save on gas you save on money, and it's better for the environment!

If you take public transportation or worse, a taxi or an Uber or Lyft, then the price becomes more obvious. You have to pay every time you step on.

Depending on where you are and what your economy is like these can all vary in price significantly. But taxis and Ubers are certainly not cheap ways to commute.

Walking is both free and also great exercise.

Of course, this advice is really only feasible if the place you are going to is actually within walking distance. For some people in some parts of the world, this is easy. In some larger countries that are more spread out, going from the suburbs to a commercial area is very much not a walking distance.

Now there are still ways to commute further distances while saving money. There's biking or something of that sort but that leaves you with a bike you have to deal with.

But carpooling is a thing for a reason. If you already have friends who are going to the same place you are and are already planning on driving there why not ask if you could tag along. It's an easy way to save money and help the environment just a little.

What are some big things you can do to save money?

Bigger things are obviously harder to do but you can save a lot more money with it. Try thinking about what you are actually doing when you go out with friends. Are you going out to experience a location or just to meet with people and hang out? If there's no reason you need to go out to a place then maybe you should think about choosing a different place to go that's either cheaper or free.

Try drinking more water at restaurants, restaurants always overcharge for drinks. This one isn't much but it's things like these that add up fast when trying to save money.

You could also try things like trying to get your friends to pay for more of your food. This requires more persuasiveness and a bit of luck but you can definitely save a bit of money through this method.
