About Costa Rican Colon (CRC)

The official currency of Costa Rica is the CRC, called the colon, symbolized by the "₡ " sign, and issued in coin denominations of ₡5, ₡10, ₡25, ₡50, ₡100 and ₡500 and banknotes in denominations of ₡1000, ₡2000, ₡5000, ₡10,000, ₡20,000, ₡50,000.
