The tiin remains in existence for accounting purposes, but there are no tiin denominated currency units in current circulation. The National Bank of Kazakhstan is the Kazakhstani central bank and sole issuer of currency within the country. Under current issuance are coins valued at лв1, лв2, лв5, лв10, лв20, лв50, and лв100 and paper currency valued at лв200, лв500, лв1,000, лв2,000, лв5,000, and лв10,000.
