The official currency of Nepal is the Nepalese rupee. The rupee is subdivided into 100 paisa and comes in denominations of 1, 2, 5 and 10 rupees. Currency exchange on the black market is illegal and can be punishable by imprisonment.

The Brazilian real is symbolized with the R$ sign. Each real, plural reais, is divided into 100 centavos. The Central Bank of Brazil focuses on price stability with monetary policy and uses the USD as their reserve currency.
