The official currency of Serbia is the Serbian dinar. The dinar is divided into 100 para and is issued in denominations of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1,000 and 5,000. Worn bills may not be accepted so it is advised that visitors trying to exchange currency have bills that are not worn or damaged.
